Hello!

My name is Robyn and I’m based in the heart of England in Derbyshire. I specialise in wedding and lifestyle photography and cover all areas of the UK!

My style is relaxed, candid, intimate, earthy and warm. I am drawn to couples and families who are looking for a someone with a less ‘traditional’ approach and are open to trying out fun and non-conventional ideas! 

I’m a cat lover, horror film enthusiast and devoted Taylor Swift fan.

I have been working with cameras since the age of 12, starting at a time where YouTube was my go-to platform, where I would create terribly embarrassing videos of myself lip-syncing to pop songs with flashy jump-cuts.

Whilst wedding and lifestyle photography/videography are a huge part of my life and passions, I am a full time Social Producer Editor working for an established broadcasting channel, working on some of TV’s most iconic programmes and films. 

Below are some FAQs!

Availability

Due to the nature of my full time role, I have a limited availability throughout the year. I encourage you to get in touch as soon as you can, regarding any date(s), to avoid disappointment. I shall have a limited amount of slots for each year going forward. Whilst I would love to be able to do it all, I simply cannot! For updates on availability, I shall post across my socials frequently. I do get cancellations/postponements for a number of reasons, so keep your eyes peeled!

When will I get my photos?

Because this is not my full time role, my turnaround times are maybe a little longer than the ‘usual’ photographer/videographer. My terms and conditions state up to 10 weeks during busy seasons, but I aim for 4-6 weeks. I dedicate a lot of my spare time (weekends/evenings) to editing, so as you can understand, having time to relax and do general ‘life’ things is also important to enable a healthy work/life balance.

 

 

When did you start doing weddings?

My first wedding was in 2019 (as a second shooter) for a family member.

 

 

If you work full time, do you do weekday weddings?

Whilst I am open to all dates throughout the year, I have to also think about my social life too! I would like to keep some of my annual leave to spend time with my husband, family and friends, so weekend bookings are also subject to availability.

Do we get sneak peeks?

I aim to deliver sneak peeks between 24 hours – 1 week. This is down to what day your wedding/lifestyle shoot falls on, and also my editing backlog. In the quieter seasons, this will likely be 24 hours – 48 hours.

Location and Venues

Travel is included within a 50-mile round trip from Creswell, Derbyshire. If your plans take us a little further afield, a small additional travel fee will apply. This will always be chatted through with you beforehand.

How many weddings have you shot?

Honestly, I have stopped keeping count now. I also continue to do second shooting for other fellow photographers too!

 

 

I’m not sure if I want a second shooter or not?

If you are extra, then a second shooter may be for you! This means you can have both preparations captured – traditionally, bridal prep is only covered if the getting ready locations are far apart. You can have one photographer at the start of the aisle, and one at the end of the aisle. More candid photographs of your guests. And an overall different angle and approach, which leads to more images in your final gallery.

Deliveries

I do not believe in just applying a filter to my images, and ‘boom, it’s done.’ I take a lot of time, care and attention for each photograph to achieve my desired look. My films usually take longer, as there are hundreds of clips to go through, to which I then need to rebuild your story. If you are choosing me as your photographer/videographer, you are investing in my time, attention to detail and stylistic approach.
